Hawk painted on rock with acrylics
Project Description

This rock painted kestrel was a real challenge! I found an incredibly shaped stone on the beach and I decided to add for the first time a small beak using a very strong synthetic paste. I worked with great care on all plumage details and I painted the kestrel on both sides. I also show the step-by-step process into the page. I’m excited by the result, this hawk is very lifelike! Leave a comment with your impressions, thank you!

  1. Your kestrel is just beautiful! I don’t know how you do those small feathery strokes so perfect. A stunning representation of a gorgeous bird!
